Gadget-Only API -> Introduction

The "Gadget-Only API" functions are a set of functions which are used in gadgets (and not in HTML components).

Similar to HTML Apps, the window size and other functions of the gadget window can be configured by the publisher to suit his needs. However, unlike the HTML App, the gadget window is not an integral part of the browser's toolbar, and is rather an individual window.

Additionally, the user can manipulate the gadget (i.e. minimize, maximize, place anywhere within the browser window, or close it).
