Add a News Ticker to Your Toolbar

To add a News Ticker to your Community Toolbar:

From the Toolbar tab, choose the News Ticker component from the list

Choose from the list of predefined RSS news feeds, such as The New York Times, Yahoo! News, Sports Headlines, and more.

You can also add any other RSS feed that your users might like (including from your own site) by simply adding its URL.

Some additional RSS Feeds you may want to include:

Bloomberg’s Stock Updates: http://www.newslookup.com/rss/business/bloomberg.rss

YouTube Top Rated: http://youtube.com/rss/global/top_rated.rss

Yahoo! Entertainment: http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/entertainment

Configure the display settings for the News Ticker and click Save at the bottom of the page.

Don’t forget:

Your Community Toolbar is updated immediately for all of your users, with no need for them to download or install it again. So you can always continue to customize this component and add more news feeds later on.
