To add a banner from the Conduit Banner Gallery to your website:

In this example we'll add the popular Top Slider

1.
Log in to your Control Panel at http://accounts.conduit.com/

2.
In the Banners Tab:

a. Choose your Language
b. Choose a banner type - In this example we'll be adding a Top Slider

c. Choose the background color for the banner and its transparency level to see how it'll appear over your web pages.

d. Choose if you wish the banner to link to the hosted download page or directly to the installation process (most suitable for when the banner is implemented on a landing page you created listing the content and benefits of the banner).

e. Copy the HTML code that is automatically generated and paste in into your web page where you want the banner to appear. You could implement the Top slider on your homepage and other high-traffic pages on your website, blog, email signature or social media accounts.

And You're Done!

The Top Slider will now automatically slide onto the top of the page and remain there until users either click on it to download your Toolbar or close it with the Close (x) button. This banner will only be displayed to users who haven't yet downloaded your Toolbar.
All of our banners automatically detect the user's browser version and provide the right installation file (IE or FF).
You could go on to explore the other off-the-shelf banner types provided in the Banners tab and add additional ones to your site and to other web promotions.

If you have the time and the resources, you may want to go ahead and create your own banners with the same functionality that would match your specific graphical requirements.
Remember - promotional banners should be appealing and targeted at your visitors.
If you are not sure which banner would perform best you may consider running some tests with several different banners and collecting data to see which generated more downloads.
If you choose to create your own banners, note some best practices when creating banners that perform and get more downloads:

a. It is important to have a clear "call-to-action" so users understand what they need to do.
For example: "Click here to download".
b. Do your best to emphasize the features and benefits of using the Toolbar.
For example: "get our breaking news in your browser!"
c. You might want to include an incentive on the banner so users have a good reason to install the Toolbar.
For example: "Download our Toolbar to get exclusive discounts for your account".
