Your toolbar is an extension of your site and as such, it is a valuable service for your website visitors. You should support your toolbar's strategic role and make it available and easily accessible from every page on your Website. Add a link to your
Toolbar's Download Page in your Website Master Template:
Add a link in the main navigation bar (the horizontal one or in the sidebar)
Add a link in the Footer navigation of your Website (at the bottom of each page) Use high-contrast colors so the promotion is prominent and noticeable.
If you are running a forum or blog, an easy way to promote the toolbar is by adding it to the template so that it displays automatically with each post. Banner or a textual link leading to its Download Page.
Extend beyond your site to other properties you control and promote your toolbar using links to your download page. For example: on your Email signature, Newsletters etc. For example, see the email MLB sent to their fans to encourage them to download the Toolbar.
